6 year old swims 2km
Jessica Glassford has just recently achieved her 2000m badge at aged only 6 years old. Jessica has private swimming lessons in the newly updated Health Club at Cottesmore Golf & Country Club in Pease Pottage. Jessica is taught by Lee Basset who manages the Health Club and also runs Swim-1st. “Jessica came to me as a beginner less than 2 years ago, in the 12 years I have been teaching this is one of the finest achievements at such a young age I have seen, I am really pleased with Jessica’s swimming technique and believe she has great swimming potential for the future”. It took Jessica just 75 minutes to do the 134 lengths of the Swimming Pool at Cottesmore.
